Belt Sizing and Your Measurements

Our belts are made according to your measurements from the information that you provide at the time of ordering. Measure around your hips where you would like the belt to be positioned using a tape measure. Always use a tape measure to ensure accuracy. Do not estimate your waist size or rely on your pants size. Please measure over the pants or trousers you plan using with the belt. Any adjustments made due to inaccurate sizing information may be subject to a service charge. Gun belts are generally worn as shown just below the standard belt line of your pants or trousers.

Stamping, Color and Finish

Each belt and holster is custom made by hand. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same. Stamping, carving and the color of each piece may vary and thus enhance the rustic appearance and artistic value of the handcrafted gun leather you have purchased. Matched gun belts and holsters ordered together will be perfectly matched within the constraints previously mentioned. Pieces ordered separately have a stronger chance of differing slightly from matched sets. We take pride in our work and would not build you anything that we would not want for ourselves.

Leather Quality

All of our gun leather is crafted with only the finest American leather. The belts and holsters are constructed of 7/8 oz leather. Both are fully lined with 5/6 oz. leather lining.

Delivery Time

All orders are started at the time of purchase. We only build what we need and have no standing inventory, so most orders will ship 4 to 6 weeks after they have been placed. This gives us the time we need to properly construct and finish your custom leather product and assure the best possible quality.

Custom Products

All custom made leather products are built based on the specifications provide by you at the time of purchase. Please double check your order to make sure it is correct. If the product meets the specifications provided by you at the time of purchase and the product is not defective in workmanship or materials, then we cannot accept it for return.

Bench made

All of the products here are bench made by Ron Collins aka IronGrizzly from high quality leather, fully lined, hand stitched and finished in deep rich color using Fiebing's Professional Oil Dyes and generously covered in Neatsfoot Oil to soften and protect. Then sealed with a light covering of Resolene.

Caring for your gun leather

Here are a few simple things that you can do to keep your gun leather looking good for many years to come.

1. Never store your handguns in the holsters for long periods of time. This could cause excessive wear on the finish of the handgun.

2. Never store your cartridges long term in the loops especially when you first get the rig. The Neatsfoot Oil used to soften the leather will leech out and evaporate for several weeks and has a corrosive effect on the shell casings if stored long term making them green.

3. Always use “Dr. Jackson's Hide Rejuvenator” to take care of your leather. The finest leather conditioner available! Hide Rejuvenator actually replaces natural oils, cleans, softens, protects and increases water repellency. May darken leather due to oil restoration. Test a non-visible area before use. Do not use on suede.
